Szeretek visszavonulni régi, megsárgult lapú, finom kötésű könyvek közé. Szeretem megérinteni a múlt emlékeit. Hiszen egy-egy régi írással üzen nekünk a múlt. Olykor szépet, olykor fájdalmasat, de mindig őszintét.

Szeretek sétálni a Várban este, egyedül. Olyankor édes-bús nosztalgiát visz magával a szél, és én mélyen érzem a zsigereimben a múlt örök tiszteletét.
Szeretem a régi, kemény kartonlapra ragasztott fényképeket a korabeli Pestről. Nézem, s érzem a hajdani Andrássy utat övező gázlámpák nehéz illatát. Gondolatban bepillantok egy polgári otthonba, ahol a háziúr éppen egy kényelmes fotelben olvassa a napi sajtót, s közben boldogan vakargatja kedvenc kutyájának a füle tövét.
Tudom, hogy a mostani rohanó világban egyre nehezebb odafigyelni az élet apró örömeire. De próbáljuk meg valóban élvezni az életet. Hiszen az élet több mint a puszta létért való küzdelem.

   Tehát kedves barátaim dőljünk néha hátra kedvenc fotelunkban és kezünkben egy pohár finom vörös borral, elmélkedjünk azon, hogy milyen szép volt akkor, amikor még egy tangó volt a vallomás.
