A General Motors azt tervezi, hogy 82 év után leállítja Pontiac üzletágát - írja a The Wall Street Journal. A hírt már pénteken megszelőztette a Bloomberg, de a lap információi szerint a Saturn, a Hummer és a Saab is eladásra vagy bezárásra kerülhet.  

Az amerikai autógyártó szóvivője a The Wall Street Journalnak azt nyilatkozta, hogy még nem született végleges döntés a Pontiac jövőjéről. Márciusban átlagosan a listaár alatt 22%-kal keltek el a Pontiac autók, míg az iparági átlag 16% volt az Edmunds adatai szerint.

Mint ismeretes, a GM június 1-ig kapott határidőt arra, hogy megtalálja a kivezető utat a csődközeli állapotból. Ha ez nem sikerül, kénytelen lesz csődvédelem alatt végrehajtani a reorganizációt az autógyártó, amely eddig már több mint 15 milliárd dollárt kapott az államtól.
 

 


A Pontiac mellett a Saturn, a Saab és a Hummer márkák is veszélyben vannak, a Hummer értékesítéséről már tavaly is felröppentek piaci pletykák.
